Features

Everything Stunda does, in one place

26 features across tracking, billing, reporting and teams. The list below is the same one the structured data on this page publishes, so nothing is advertised to a crawler that is not here.

Automatic time tracking that works while you work

Tracking, invoicing, privacy, and insights: one quiet system, and not a single timer to babysit.

The timer you never have to start.

Open your laptop and start working. A 8.9 MB download captures app switches, active focus, and idle gaps in the background, with no timer to start.

We count keystrokes. We never read them.

  • What you typed
  • Webcam footage
  • Screen recordings
  • Clipboard data

Keystroke counts measure focus intensity. Never your text. Never your messages.

From tracked hours to a professional invoice in four steps

Turn billable hours into branded PDF invoices and shareable links in 60 seconds.

UI design 8h $960
API work 4h $480
Total $1,440

You'll learn things about yourself.

When do you do your best work? Which projects eat your time? What does a 90-score day actually look like?

Grouped by what it is for, with the plan each feature starts on. Figures with a currency symbol live on the pricing page and nowhere else.

Tracking

The part that runs while you are not thinking about it. Everything here happens with no timer started and no project chosen up front.

Automatic background tracking Free
Records which application and window has focus continuously, so the day is captured as it happens rather than reconstructed later.
Idle detection Free
Thirty seconds without keyboard or mouse input marks a stretch idle. It is shown separately rather than deleted or silently billed.
Activity counts Free
Keystroke and click counts per interval, never their content, so an hour of work and an hour of an open window are distinguishable.
Sleep-aware sessions Free
A suspend ends the session at the sleep boundary. Closing a laptop at six and opening it at nine does not produce three billed hours.
Manual entries Free
For calls, meetings and work away from the machine, which no tracker can see. Sits alongside the automatic timeline.
Offline tracking Free
The desktop app writes to a local database first and syncs afterwards, so a dropped connection never costs a session.
Window titles and browser hosts Free
Optional, behind an operating system permission. Turns an app name into a project. Query strings are stripped before storage.
Opt-in screenshots Pro
Off unless you switch them on, for teams whose client contracts require proof-of-work capture.

Projects and billing

Where tracked minutes become money. The design goal is that no step between the two involves a spreadsheet.

Projects and clients Free
Assign time to a project after it was measured, and have the assignment remembered for the same evidence next time.
Per-project rates and billable flags Free
Set once on the project. Internal work and admin stay on the other side of the line without a decision per entry.
Invoices from tracked time Free
Selected entries become invoice lines with hours and amounts computed from the tracked minutes, summed in whole cents per row.
Custom invoice branding Pro
Your logo, your colours, your payment details, on the PDF and on the shareable link.
Shareable invoice links Free
Send a URL instead of an attachment, for clients whose mail server eats PDFs.
Unlimited invoices Pro
The free plan caps invoices per month. Paid does not.

Reporting and AI

Reading the record back. The measurement is arithmetic; turning a thousand rows into a sentence you can act on is the part worth automating.

Where the week went Free
Time by project, by client and by application, with the billable share alongside it.
Unlimited history Free
Including on the free plan. Your past is not a paywall.
AI daily digest Pro
Written from the day's own sessions: what took the time, what fragmented, and what is billable and not yet invoiced.
Plain-language questions Pro
Resolved into typed, access-scoped lookups against your own rows. The model never writes the query.
Workload signals Pro
Pattern scoring over the last 28 days. Under about two weeks of history it declines to give a reading rather than inventing one.
MCP endpoint Free
Read your tracked time from Claude, Cursor, Codex or VS Code with a token you create and revoke. On every plan, and it uses no AI quota.
CSV and PDF export Free
Entries and sessions to CSV, invoices to PDF. Everything is exportable and deletable at any time.

Teams

Enough visibility to run a studio, and deliberately not enough to police one.

Workspaces and invites Team
Shared projects and clients across a team, priced per person with no seat cap.
Roles, with reporting off by default Team
Seeing other people's time is a permission somebody grants rather than a property of having an account.
Team dashboard Team
Hours per project and per person, and the billable share across the studio.
Shared invoice workspace Team
Team hours become client invoices in one place instead of a monthly CSV somebody reshapes by hand.
Seat management in app Team
Buy and release seats yourself. No tier negotiation when the team changes size.

Then ask it anything about your own week.

Stunda reads the timeline back to you in plain language, answers questions about it, and tells you when your pace stops looking sustainable. It is working from the week above, not from a survey.

Stunda AI Assistant 20 to 24 July

How much did I work this week?

23h 20m tracked across 5 days, 21h 45m of it billable.

That averages 4h 40m a day.

Daily digest

Your tracked day, read back to you

A plain-language readout of the day: where the hours went, what stood out, and one concrete idea for tomorrow. It lands every morning, written from the timeline rather than from anything you typed.

Read my day

Workload

Not enough history

Burnout signal, not a productivity score

Stunda watches pace over weeks, not days, and says so. Under about two weeks of history it declines to give you a reading at all, because a burnout signal drawn from four days is a guess with a number on it.

Keep tracking. This reading needs about two weeks to be honest.

Tracked on your desktop. Billed from your browser.

Every session syncs to app.stunda.io on its own, from whichever machine you were on. Check the week, name the stray blocks, send the invoice. Nothing gets typed in twice.

What Stunda noticed

Written from your own week, every morning

Where the week went

Meridian took 54% of your billable time across 4 sessions. The other 2 clients split the rest.

Your longest stretch

4h 25m unbroken on Wednesday, in VS Code. You did not have to remember any of it afterwards.

Your pace

3h 20m on Friday up to 5h 35m on Wednesday, averaging 4h 40m of tracked work a day. Stunda flags the weeks that stop looking sustainable.

Waiting on a client name

1h 35m across 2 blocks has no client attached. Assign them and the week is worth $134.58 more.

Every line came out of a tracked session, so the hours on the invoice are the hours you worked. No reconstructing the week from memory on a Friday evening.

You've been here 2:40.
That's $3.78 unbilled.

That's how it slips away: a few quiet minutes at a time, on every project. Stunda catches them all day, silently, and turns them into invoices that send in four steps.
